UEA is the headline sponsor of Norfolk Network.
Our unique relationship dates back to 2009 when Norfolk Network supported the launch of UEA’s first student entrepreneur society. Today, we continue to facilitate connections between students and academics by offering complimentary event tickets and speaking opportunities. Students benefit from learning from inspiring speakers and members, while networking to build their professional connections. UEA academic researchers frequently participate in panels and roundtable discussions, sharing cutting-edge research insights.
Norfolk Network members also have access to UEA’s extensive network of specialists, offering research insights, graduate-level skills, innovation consultancy, and funding opportunities. In addition, the Norwich Business School awards an exclusive annual scholarship for a Norfolk Network member to study on the part-time Executive MBA programme.
Members share career insights and industry developments through talks at the College This supports curriculum content for business management and leadership degrees and T Level courses. Members participate in vital research to help the college identify essential soft skills for young people leaving college, whilst learning about how the City College Norwich are developing young people’s skills. Lecturers attend Norfolk Network events taking on new ideas and insights whilst expanding their business network.
The lecturers use the learnings from this trip to Delta Fire in lessons, referring back to what they had seen on the trip, to help to teach other concepts. The trip helped to bring theory and concepts to life and helped the students to understand how what they were learning from their academic module, could be applied in a local organisation.
